A man. A lamp post. An umbrella. Perhaps one of the most elegant and memorable musical moments of all time, and it’s in Singin’ in the Rain. The talkies are nudging out the silent movies, and screen idol Don Lockwood and his spoiled and nasal co-star Lina Lamont are struggling to make the transition. Don’s romance with the lovely and talented Cathy Seldon only complicates things further, and the result? Big dance romance and a happy Hollywood ending. Singin’ in the Rain. A glorious feeling! |
