CURTIS HOLBROOK couldn’t be happier to be returning to the Muny stage this summer having appeared as Ren McCormack in last season’s production of Footloose. On Broadway he has appeared in West Side Story, Xanadu, All Shook Up, Follies, The Addams Family, The Boy from Oz, Taboo, Fosse and Footloose. Off- Broadway credits include Frog Kiss (New York Musical Theatre Festival Outstanding Individual Performance Award), Saved! (Playwrights Horizons) and Radiant Baby (The Public Theater). TV/Film: the upcoming pilot episode of Smash (NBC), Nurse Jackie, Law & Order: SVU, All My Children, As The World Turns, Sesame Street, Hairspray and Across the Universe. John Freimann as Roscoe Dexter
JOHN FREIMANN is very pleased to be back in St. Louis and at The Muny for his 14th summer. John has had a varied theatrical career—from messenger boy at Warner Brothers, to production assistant on Broadway, to painter at NBC and CBS, to a 25-year chairmanship of the Drama Department at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, from which he received an honorary doctorate of humanities. Having retired, he finds himself happily back in professional work: acting, designing or directing at many summer or regional theatres such as Arena Stage, Berkeley Rep, Woodstock Playhouse and, of course, The Muny. John’s television credits include Law & Order and The Late Show with David Letterman. His last residual was $0.07!

James Anthony as R.F. Simpson
JAMES ANTHONY has been a regular at The Muny since 1991 and has appeared in 40 productions including The Music Man (Mayor Schinn), Bye Bye Birdie (Mr. McAfee) and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor® Dreamcoat (Jacob/Potiphar), to name just a few. He has also performed at the St. Louis Repertory Theatre in Saint Joan (Archbishop of Reims) and as one of the Twelve Angry Men. In New York, he appeared on the daytime serial One Life to Live. His film credits include: Murder Ordained (Richard Jordan), Back to Hannibal (The Sheriff) for the Disney Channel, the CBS mini-series Gone in the Night (Detective Foley), the Sci-Fi Channel original movie The Black Hole (Spencer Toland) and the recently released Joint Body (Cappy Knight). His professional career spans four decades and includes more than 225 productions. Thank you, Paul Blake and The Muny, for being such a big part of it!

Rexford C. Calkins as Young Cosmo
REXFORD C. CALKINS is 9 years old and celebrating his 2nd Muny season after appearing in Beauty and the Beast and with the Muny Kids. A ballroom dancer who delights in tumbling and trampoline, Rexford studies tap and jazz under Mark Krupinski. Thanks to Mark, Paul Blake, Terri Merideth and Mary Hall-Ries.

MATTHEW HOWARD is thrilled to be back at The Muny for a 5th season. He has been in seven previous shows, including The Sound of Music (Kurt), and is a Muny Kid. He will be a 7th grader at St. John Lutheran in Ellisville. Thanks to The Muny, family and God.

KELLY SHEEHAN is thrilled to be back at The Muny! Her career began at age 6 dancing on Star Search! Broadway: 42nd Street, Lorraine, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas Ensemble 2008 and 2009. Other: No, No, Nanette (New York City Center), White Christmas tour (Judy u/s). Kelly is a member of the New York Song & Dance Co. with choreographer Noah Racey and has performed at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall and with Jazz at Lincoln Center. LAURA ACKERMANN marks her 15th season with The Muny. She has appeared in Titanic, The Sound of Music, My Fair Lady and more than 30 others. She has also performed for Avalon Theatre Company, the New Jewish Theatre and Westport Playhouse. Proud member of Actors’ Equity for 37 years. Love to Dad, Everetts, Hagemonsters and The B.A.T. JOHN CONTINI is a 22-year Muny veteran of nearly 50 shows. Member of AEA for 32 years. GRAYDON LONG is currently a junior in the musical theatre program at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He is originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, and has performed in many musical theatre productions including West Side Story, Oklahoma!, Motel in Fiddler on the Roof, Marvin in Falsettos and Benny in Rent.
