JEFF McCARTHY happily returns to The Muny having played starring roles in Camelot (2009), My One and Only (2008), Les Misérables (2007), Guys and Dolls (2004), Roman Holiday (2001) and Oklahoma! (1993). He originated the role of Lockstock in the Broadway phenomenon Urinetown. Most recently in New York, Jeff was Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of Chicago. He has also starred on Broadway as Terry Turner in Side Show, Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Big Bob in Smile, Niko in Zorba (opposite Anthony Quinn) and The Pirates of Penzance. Los Angeles: Les Misérables (Javert), The Three Sisters (Vershinin), Search and Destroy (Martin), A Little Night Music (Carl Magnus) and Stone in City of Angels (national tour). Off-Broadway: Lanford Wilson’s Sympathetic Magic (Second Stage), On The 20th Century (York Theatre) and The Gifts of the Magi (Lamb’s Theatre Company). DEE HOTY has distinguished herself as one of Broadway’s favorite leading ladies. She has earned Tony® nominations for her starring roles in Footloose, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public and The Will Rogers Follies. She recently co-starred in Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway and is about to star in the national tour of 9 to 5 (which will be playing St. Louis!). She starred on Broadway and in eight major US cities as Donna Sheridan in Mamma Mia!. Other Broadway shows include City of Angels (Outer Critics Circle nomination), Me and My Girl, Big River, The Five O’Clock Girl and Shakespeare’s Cabaret. She starred opposite Tommy Tune in the national tour of Doctor Dolittle, starred opposite Stacy Keach in the first national tour of Barnum, and won a Joseph Jefferson (Chicago) Award playing Betty Blake in the first national tour of The Will Rogers Follies. Dee has appeared off-Broadway in Personals, Vanities and Forbidden Broadway. Her regional theatre appearances include the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Ford’s Theatre (D.C.), the 5th Avenue Theatre (Seattle), the Paper Mill Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse, George Street Theatre (NJ), Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Theatre Under The Stars (Houston), Hartford Rep, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the O’Neill Conference and the Goodspeed Opera House (CT), Bay Street Theatre (NY), the Prince Theatre and Walnut Street Theatre (Philadelphia) and The Muny, where she appeared as Dorothy Brock in last summer’s production of 42nd Street and as the title role in Mame in 2005. Recently, Dee was seen in Stormy Weather: The Life of Lena Horne, at the Pasadena Playhouse playing opposite the great Leslie Uggams. Dee’s performance as Kay Thompson garnered a Barrymore Award (Philadelphia) in 2007. Both Law & Order and Law & Order: CI have welcomed Dee into their rosters. She has been seen as both a tough hearing judge and a “bad mommy!” She has numerous other television and film appearances. She can be heard on the original recordings of City of Angels, The Will Rogers Follies, The Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public and Footloose, and on the two CD set of Stephen Sondheim’s Follies from the Paper Mill production (in which she starred as Phyllis). CURTIS HOLBROOK recently had the pleasure of re-creating the role of Action in the Broadway revival of West Side Story. Other Broadway credits include: Xanadu (Sonny Malone), Follies (Young Buddy), All Shook Up (Dean Hyde), The Boy from Oz, Taboo, Fosse and Footloose. Off-Broadway he has appeared at Playwrights Horizon in Saved! (Roland) and at the Public Theater in Radiant Baby (Incredibly Hot Man). Film credits include: Hairspray (as Corny Collins council member Brad) and Across the Universe (directed by Julie Taymor). TV Credits: Law & Order: SVU, Sesame Street, All My Children and As The World Turns. His most recent project, Give It Up!, had its world premiere at the Dallas Theater Center earlier this year and is aiming for a Broadway transfer in the near future. His favorite role of all time is husband to his new wife Patti. |

MEGGIE CANSLER was seen earlier this season as Caroline Neville in Titanic and played Penny Pingleton in last year’s Hairspray. She has been seen on Broadway in The Apple Tree, Wicked, and this year’s Tony®- nominated Finian’s Rainbow. Meggie toured with the first national tour of Wicked (u/s Glinda) and has performed regionally at the American Heartland Theatre as Ruby in Dames at Sea, at the Music Theatre of Wichita, at the Starlight Theatre and with New York City Center’s Encores! Series. She sang with the Cincinnati Pops in Patriotic Broadway that was televised on PBS. Favorite roles include: Cathy in The Last Five Years, Violet in Side Show, and Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance.
