Leapin' Lizards! The popular comic strip heroine takes centerstage in one of the world's best-loved musicals. ANNIE is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. Jacquelyn Piro Donovan, a Lynnfield native who just starred as Dolly Levi in NSMT's Hello, Dolly!, is excited to be back and given the opportunity to torture little girls. Broadway/NYC: Les Miserables: Jacquelyn holds the distinction of portraying both Cosette and Fantine, the first actor in Broadway history to do so. Raymond Jaramillo McLeod has performed in every theatrical venue ranging from The Metropolitan Opera to Broadway, television and film. McLeod, made his New York debut in Zefirelli's La Boheme at The Metropolitan Opera. His booming bass baritone has been critically acclaimed in illustrious stage productions, including: OBC Jekyll & Hyde; Dance of the Vampires starring Michael Crawford; Juan Peron/20th Anniversary National Tour of Evita; Wreck in Wonderful Town (w/ Donna Murphy); Eddie in MTC's The Wild Party (w/ Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs; and, Jigger in The Hollywood Music Bowl's all-star cast of Carousel (w/ Judy Kaye, Faith Prince and Tom Bosley). Extensive recording credits include his solo CD "Jaramillo...Until Then". TV appearances include the "infamous" role of Psycho Bob in "Fresh Prince of Bel Air" with Will Smith. Lauren Weintraub as Annie
Lauren Weintraub is a 13 year old Equity actress, dancer and singer from Sudbury, MA. She is thrilled to be making her NSMT debut and to be reunited with Mikey (aka Sandy). She earned her Equity card playing Annie last summer at Maine State Music Theater where she received a BroadwayWorld Boston nomination for Best Actress in a Musical. Other theater credits include Annie (Molly), The Sound of Music (Gretl), Gypsy (Baby June) and Fiddler on the Roof (Bielke). Lauren can also be heard as the voice of Zoe in the newly released Academy Award nominated animated film A Cat in Paris. She recently had the honor of singing the National Anthem at Gillette Stadium. When Lauren is not on stage, she can be found dancing, playing guitar and piano or hanging out with her friends. Jessica Tyler Wright is thrilled to be back at North Shore Music Theatre in one of her all time favorite shows. Other NSMT credits include Beauty and the Beast, Kiss Me Kate and Children of Eden. Broadway/NYC: Jessica was most recently seen as the Song Woman in the Tony Award winning play War Horse. Other credits include the John Doyle productions of Sweeney Todd, where she was seen as Pirelli and the Beggar Woman, and Company. She also had the pleasure of working under the direction of Harold Prince as a member of the original cast of LoveMusik, and as Paquette in his production of Candide at New York City Opera. Her Off Broadway credits include It Must Be Him, Suburb and Radio Gals. Favorite National Tour and Regional credits include: Sweeney Todd National Tour, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Mrs. Claus-Atlanta and Dallas), Merrily We Roll Along (KT-Cincinnati Playhouse), Music Man and Kiss Me Kate (Marian, Lilli-MTWichita), 10 Cents a Dance (Williamstown, McCarter), World Goes Round (Prince Music Theatre), Crazy for You and Cabaret (Irene, Kost-CA Music Circus). She can be seen as a violinist suffering heartburn in the current TV commercial for Nexium, and next up for Jessica is the upcoming Broadway production of Rebecca set to open this fall.

Elena Carmichael is 10 years old, and lives in the western suburbs of Boston with her parents, older brother, younger sister, and three rambunctious cats. She made her stage debut last summer in Annie with the Mt. Washington Valley Theatre Company in NH, and has also performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with the Newton Country Players. She studies at Sereda Danceworks and Boston Children's Theatre. Elena also enjoys reading, writing, and drawing.
