Moya Angela as Effie White
Moya Angela joins our cast from The Lion Kings Gazelle and Cheetah tours (Disney). Her roles included Rafiki and Shenzi. She is a native of Indianapolis, IN where she won two Encore Awards in her roles as Sara in Ragtime and Adapearle in The Wiz. Moya is making her NYC debut and thanks her parents/loving family for support.

Felicia Boswell as Ensemble, Stepp Sister (u/s Deena, Lorrell)
Felicia Boswell is a native of Montgomery, AL. Nominee for Suzi Bass Award 2008. National Tour: Aida. Tallia Brinson as Ensemble, Stepp Sister (u/s Michelle)
Tallia Brinson is thankful to be a part of this fabulous show! Yes, Fabulous! Tallia grew up in Atlanta, GA by way of Springfield, MA. She then went on to earn her BFA from the University of the Arts. Trevon Davis as C.C. White
Trevon Davis, a gifted singer and actor, is a native of Flint, Michigan, as well as a graduate of Clark Atlanta University. He was one of the seven finalists on BET's premiere season of Sunday Best, hosted by Kirk Franklin, and he also appeared in MTV's hit series Making the Band, produced by Sean "Diddy" Combs. He is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Inc. and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He thanks his parents Gregory Davis and the late Frenchetta Davis as well as his family and close friends for their continued support. Most of all, Trevon thanks God for His many blessings!

Chester Gregory, an award-winning actor, performer, singer and songwriter, is ecstatic about being "Jimmy" in Dreamgirls and returning to the World Famous Apollo Theater where he made his NY debut as "Jackie Wilson" in The Jackie Wilson Story (Jeff, AUDELCO, BTAA and Black Excellence Awards). James Harkness is blessed to be part of the legacy of Dreamgirls for the third time, previously in the 25th anniversary production as Wayne, starring Jennifer Holliday. He's also been on Broadway in Guys and Dolls, The Color Purple and Aida. An accomplished performer, having had the opportunity to work with the likes of Debbie Allen, Kenny Ortega, Reba McIntyre, Latin recording artist Chayanne, Ne-Yo, etc., performing on The Tony Awards, The Kennedy Center Honors, Oprah, David Letterman, and Good Morning America. Robert Hartwell as Ensemble, Tru-Tone
Robert Hartwell is a recent magna cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan and is beyond blessed to be here! University: Rent (Angel), Parade (Jim Conley), 42nd Street (Dance Captain). Syesha Mercado (official website) as Deena Jones
Syesha Mercado rose to fame as the second runner-up on American Idol's seventh season. The rising starlet has begun recording her first album, collaborating with prominent writers and producers, including Grammy-winner Diane Warren, Evan Bogart and Chris Rojas. As a young actress, Syesha received the nationally recognized South Eastern Theatre Conference's "Best Supporting Actress" award. In 2005, the songstress competed in and won on the Emmy-winning show Florida Super Singer. She majored in theater at Florida International University and has appeared in several national television shows and commercials.

Milton Craig Nealy as Marty
Milton Craig Nealy is happy to be a part of this new production of Dreamgirls, having been in the original Broadway and 1987 revival productions. He also created the roles of Agwe in Once on This Island and Four-Eyed Moe in Five Guys Named Moe on Broadway. Other Broadway credits include: Caroline, or Change, John in Miss Saigon (as well as the London and Australian productions), Mail and the revival of Aint Misbehavin'. National tours: The Full Monty (also in Australia), Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar (20th anniversary tour) and Sing, Mahalia, Sing, starring Jennifer Holliday.

Chaz Lamar Shepherd as Curtis Taylor, Jr.
Chaz Lamar Shepherd is from Philadelphia and has been gracing our television screens, co-starring in 7th Heaven, Moesha, The Parkers, The Steve Harvey Show, Sister Sister, Touched by an Angel and more. Most recently the TV audience has been watching him on The Game as Trey Wiggs. Chaz has also co-starred in Set It Off and The Temptations. Now, after co-starring on Broadway as Harpo in The Color Purple, Chaz is ready to grace the stage again starring as Curtis in the upcoming Dreamgirls tour. He has been on the Billboard charts three times this year with his single Chemical Reaction. Chaz's soul/R&B album Love & Truth was released during the Dreamgirls tour and is available in the show lobby. His gospel work was Grammy nominated last year. Chaz is excited to contribute his talents and passion with the world.

Amaker Smith as (Swing)
Dance Instruction: Alfred Gallman and Lisa Attles, Clarissa Newby Phillips at The Cicely Tyson School of Performing and Fine Arts, The Julliard School, Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey. Smith worked for The Muny in the summer of 2009 and continues his career with this national tour of Dreamgirls.

Marc Spaulding (official website) as Ensemble, Little Albert
Marc Spaulding began his dance training at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC. His performance credits include: the Broadway revival of Equus, feature film Hairspray, the NBC Today Show, West Side Story European Tour, and Philadanco.

Adrienne Warren (official website) as Lorrell Robinson
Adrienne Warren is a recent graduate of Marymount Manhattan College. New York Theatre credits include: The Wiz, Dorothy understudy for Encores! Summer Stars. Regional: Little Shop of Horrors, Cats, Big River, and the 25th anniversary of Dreamgirls starring Jennifer Holliday. She is an alumni of Ann Reinkings Broadway Theatre Project. She recently toured as a featured vocalist with Trans Siberian Orchestra in their 2008-2009 Winter tour (special guest: Steven Tyler of Aerosmith).
