Three ghost tales that leave even the youngest audience members able to sleep at night, this show is a perfect way to celebrate Halloween with less thrills & scares and more creative, engaging storytelling. Portions of Edgar Allen Poe’s The Raven, Oscar Wilde’s The Canterville Ghost and Karen Hardastle’s The Isaiah Story are presented with young audience members participating. As a companion activity, young people make ghosts out of tissue paper, which they can take home after the performance. |

Using the traditions of the Day of the Dead celebration, this piece tells stories distinctive to the Latin American experience.
The play begins with a puppet/movement-based reenactment of the Monarch butterflies’ yearly migration to Mexico. According to legend, these butterflies are the souls of the dead returning home for Dia de los Meurtos. Audience members may take part dancing, singing Cielito Lindo in Spanish and playing instruments. |
